I've talked about how
much I love all things sheer and/or mesh in the past, and I've also mentioned
how hard it can be to find this trend in plus sizes. When I saw this long sleeved mesh dress from
Jen's Fashion Plus, I knew I had to have it. I'm not crazy about bubble hems, so I'm thinking a little DIY project might be in order. Speaking of DIY, I cut thumb holes in the sleeves to add a bit of fun detail.
Yesterday was pretty horrible. First, I got the worst haircut e-v-e-r (luckily it's not my
real hair), then my DSLR fell and broke. All in all, I'm not feeling too great, and (as you can tell from the photos below) my pictures probably won't be of quality for a while.

UGH I'm so sorry the slr broke my dear!!! You do look lovely...this reminds me of your hair before you cut it WAYYYY BACK when the your blog first started..so of course it's cute...
Hang in there, Gabi. You still look beautiful, and I'm not the only one to think it. SO SORRY about your camera :( . That is truly awful.
But I'm really digging your outfit, a little attempted recreation might have to happen on my part... :P .
Still fabulous, still an inspiration to us all.
Hope things get better.

P.S. I hate not liking my hair. But honest to god when I opened this up the first thing I wanted to comment on was the cut. I think it looks beautiful, but 'das just me :P .

Dropping the camera would make me cry! ahh!
It took me a while to embrace bubble hems, I finally took the plunge this past summer and purchased one. I loved it and got many compliments. I think this looks cute on you but I'm interested to see how you flip it.
I, too, think that your hair looks fine. The cut kinda makes you look a bit younger, it's sweet actually.
I'm sorry to hear about your camera, but you look fabulous in that outfit! I love everything about it!
Love it! I like the bubble hem, but like NikStar says, I'm interested to see what you do with it!
I'm a Canadian living in Korea - lets talk bad hair cuts! Imagine the language barrier...good news is that it's hair, and it always "grows" out.
Good luck with the camera repairs! <3
ahh the ring!

I love this dress on you, you look great in it.
I am aprehensive about bubble hems, as much as I love the idea of them, they always seem not to look right on me. But you look fab in them.

I love how you added the thumb holes. I hope today is better for you
I honestly am in love with your hair cut, it's adorable and super chic. As for the outfit, do I have to say anything? As always, gorgeous !

Actually I think the bubble hem and the necklace is what's making this look fresh and edgy. If the hem was straight I could have mistaken this photo from 1993.
I love your blog, even if I'm not the intended audience, you do inspire great ideas and have lots of great looks.
This is my first comment on your blog, your hair looks lovely, I love your usual curly look though! ps where did u get that ring, I'm from London and I swear I have been searching for one high and low! :(
You may hate the haircut but I think its cute. Maybe you wanted something a little edgier. I like the dress too...
You continue to be fabulous no matter the camera! xoxo
hey, you can actually get that exact same dress for a couple bucks cheaper at casual-plus.com

and your hair still looks cute. or maybe it's just impossible for you to not look cute, i don't know.
I hate bubble hems. They look cute in theory but end up making me look like I am wearing a diaper. Looks good on you though.

You look good to us, but I know just how you feel. Congratulations on a kewl dress.
Bubble hem or not, you look fucking amazing!
This looks amazing! i was watching some old-school videos that you in this outfit would fit right in! (in a good way :)
So, I just found your blog and think you're totally fabulous! Love this outfit!! And that ring is amazing! :)
Super cute... a belated comment, but I had this post in the back of my mind when I saw this (http://www.eshakti.com/clothpdpage.asp?catalog=Clothes&cate=blush+hour&productid=CL0018466&pcat=collections), so I immediately ordered it. Different use of mesh, but a kind of similar vibe.
Love, love, LOVE that ring! Pretty pics
