Well, since the picture got rave reviews from readers, Glamour decided to include more body diversity in the future. In fact, they just finished shooting an editorial for the November issue which featured nude plus size models. In addition to Miller, the shoot included Crystal Renn, Anansa Sims, Ashley Graham, Jennie Runk, Kate Dillon, and Amy Lemons, (seen below).

I seriously cannot wait for this issue to hit the stands. I realize these ladies aren't exactly size 20s, but I truly believe this is a step in the right direction for larger women. (Kate Harding wrote a great article about this very topic for Jezebel). I honestly feel a positive shift occurring in the fashion industry regarding plus sizes. It's small, but it's there. And apparently I'm not the only one. Renn's agent told The Guardian, "I have been in this business for 11 years and I have seen this debate ripple through the fashion world a number of times," he said. "This time, though, the momentum of the debate feels different."
Here's to hoping he's right.

(aren't exactly size 20s) "sadly" in the Modeling Business these Ladies called "Fat":( I think they are Beautiful and hope to see more " normal Women !!!" I would never be able to wear those Designer Clothes because i am sure no Toothpick!;)
This is so true. These girls are NORMAL size. I can't believe they are concidered as plus size.
These girls are perfectly normal in the real world, but considered abnormally "fat" in the fashion world.
It's a step in the right direction not just for larger women, but for ALL women. Most "thin" women are also way bigger than your average model.
I personally prefer the term "average" to "normal," as a few commenters have put it.
Other than that, I thrilled to see this. I am especially taken with the lower lefthand image. There is something about that strong, meaty forearm being front and center that really stands out in a great way. Plus the model is gaw-juss.
Yes! I can't wait for this one to arrive on my doorstep!!
what is disheartening to me is that non of these women truly represent the shapes that most of us girls are. Especially the transformation of Kate Dillon, who seems to have lost most of her full-figured" weight, but is still modeling plus-sized clothing online for Bloomingdales. She looks like a size 8/10...arghhhh.
My ultimate fav right now is the beauty you have pictured above in the middle who strongly resembles Eva Mendes. She is much more representative in the plus sized build than the other models out there.
Love your posts....you have 1 of thee best full-figured blogs out there!
that picture of crystal is so fierce!
I think the lady in glamour looks lovely. Not sure she's actually 'over weight', if she is it's not extreme. She just looks like a normal, happy woman who eats sensibly and is healthy.
I do love Glamour UK for styling, but every model is teeny with a flat stomache!
Lizzi is beautiful! More models like this please.
